About FoQus
FoQus is a small product with a simple aim: to make it easy to take a few unhurried minutes between one thing and the next.
Why we made it
Most days move straight from one task to the next. FoQus offers a short, bounded pause in between, with a clear start and a clear end.
It does not ask you to clear your mind, reach a particular state or perform well. You can guide the lights, follow a breathing guide, listen, or simply watch. When the timer ends, you go back to your day.
FoQus runs in a browser so it is there when you need it, on whatever device you are using, without another app to install.
What guides it
People stay in control
You choose the length, the cues and when to stop. FoQus never decides for you.
Privacy by default
No account is needed inside the app, and nothing about your sessions leaves your device.
Honest about limits
FoQus makes no health claims. It is a pause, not a treatment.
Plain language
Every option is explained in everyday words, in the app and on this site.
