Guest mode
Guest mode creates no profile. Session choices, activity summaries and optional reflections stay in page memory. They are not saved as a profile and are lost when you refresh or close the page.
Terms acknowledgement stays in page memory for the current visit only. It is not written to browser storage.
Local Profile
A Local Profile stores a nickname and profile ID, session history, totals, badges and last session choices in this browser’s local storage. History can include session time, duration and mode, intention, sound and breathing choices, activity summaries, optional check-in answers, reflections and notes.
This data is not encrypted and may be visible to anyone using the same browser or device. It stays until you choose Reset FoQus data in Settings or clear this site’s data in your browser.
Optional check-in and reflection
The check-in asks for broad categories only, such as age range, what brings you to FoQus, mindfulness experience and how full your mind feels. It asks for no name or contact details, and each answer can be skipped. Guest answers stay in page memory; Local Profile answers are stored in this browser.
A reflection is also optional. It can include a selected response and a note. Guest reflections stay in page memory; a Local Profile can save them with its session. Please do not include personal information in a note.
What FoQus does not send
FoQus does not send profile details, session choices, check-in answers, reflections or notes to SustematiQ or another service. It uses no analytics, cookies, advertising or tracking. Sounds are generated in your browser. If you choose a calendar reminder, a calendar file is created on your device and is not sent to a calendar service.
This website
These website pages do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. The website and app are separate. A closed-alpha access request uses SustematiQ’s separate sign-in and request flow.
